Citizens for Tax Justice is seeking three full-time interns for the summer of 2001. This is a PAID ten-week internship ($200/week). Interns will assist with research and lobbying efforts. Requirements include strong writing, researching, and computer skills. Knowledge of tax policy is not necessary, but applicants should have some knowledge of basic economic principles and feel comfortable with their math skills. Interested applicants should provide their resume, references and a cover letter.
Citizens for Tax Justice was formed to give low- and middle-income working Americans a greater voice in the crafting of tax policy at the federal, state and local levels. CTJ has engaged in advocacy and research on tax issues since its founding in 1979, with a focus on the distributional consequences of both current law and proposed changes.
