
Research Assistant
The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), the research arm of Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ), is seeking an entry-level research assistant.
ITEP is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization founded in 1981 to conduct analyses of federal and state tax systems. ITEP works closely with CTJ, a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to fair and adequate taxation. CTJ advocates:
CTJ, often using ITEP analyses, has been a key player in many federal and state tax reform fights.
Responsibilities for the position offered include gathering information for a corporate tax study, and researching issues relating to federal, state, and local tax policy.
The ideal candidate for this entry-level position is detail oriented, energetic, adept in mathematics, computer literate, writes well and has an interest in tax policy.
Compensation for this position is commensurate with qualifications and includes excellent health and pension benefits.
